Your dashboard stays fast, even when routers go offline
Live customer status now refreshes up to twice as fast, and expiry checks finish about 30 times faster, however many routers are offline.
Every 30 seconds WaveCore reads your routers to show who is online and to disconnect customers whose package has ended. When some routers were offline, those checks slowed right down, and the dashboard felt it.
What you'll notice
- Who's online refreshes in under 10 seconds, down from 15 seconds or more.
- Expired customers are disconnected on time: the expiry check went from up to 45 seconds to about 1.5 seconds.
- Pages stay quick when a site loses power or internet.
What was wrong
An offline router takes a few seconds to time out. WaveCore checked routers only a few at a time, so every offline router made the rest wait in line, and the expiry check waited on them one by one.
How we fixed it
WaveCore now checks routers side by side. A router that doesn't answer no longer holds up the others, so the whole round takes about as long as the slowest single router.
