Compensate customers for outages in a few clicks

By WaveCore team

WaveCore now records every router outage on its own, so you can give affected customers free time without working out who was hit.

Keeping customers happy after an outage builds loyalty. The Outage compensation screen is built for that, but it wasn't seeing outages, so there was nothing to pick.

What you'll notice

  • Outages appear on their own when a router stops answering for about a minute, and close when it's back.
  • Choose an outage and WaveCore fills in the router and offers only that router's PPPoE and Hotspot customers.
  • No guessing who was affected and no compensating customers who weren't.

What was wrong

WaveCore already watched every router, but it never turned a confirmed outage into a record the compensation screen could use.

How we fixed it

When WaveCore confirms a router is down with two failed checks, it now records the outage with the time it started. The moment the router answers again, the outage is closed. On the first day it found 15 outages across our customers' networks.
