New routers finish setup without getting locked
Some MikroTik routers got stuck and locked during setup, before customers could log in. Setup now completes on them.
Adding a router should end with customers online, not with a locked router and a support call.
What was wrong
During setup, WaveCore tried to install a Wi-Fi package. Routers that couldn't take it asked for it again after every reboot. After three attempts the router was locked with "loop detected (package installs)", and setup stopped before login (RADIUS) was configured, so customers couldn't connect.
How we fixed it
Setup now leaves your router's packages as they are and goes straight on to hotspot and login setup. We unlocked the routers that were stuck, and one finished setup within minutes.
What you'll notice
Add a router and it goes all the way to ready. No locks, and no need to install packages by hand first.
